We are gearing up for growth and are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team to:
Prepare written credit analyses/presentations for commercial credit requests by gathering, intepreting, and analyzing business plans, financial statements, tax returns, and related materials. Participate in presentations to credit committee.
- Serve as a control point in the credit approval process to ensure adherence to Bank's lending policies.
- Monitor the loan portfolio to ensure timely processing of renewals and extensions, as well as monitoring the loan portfolio for deterioration in credit quality.
- Assist lenders and operations teams in loan closing and post-funding customer support activities.
Successful candidates will have:
- A BA/BS in finance, accounting, or business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of commercial credit analysis experience in a financial services environment.
- The ability to solve complex problems and clearly articulate issues and solutions.
- PC proficiency with MS Office.
- Experience with Metavante and Baker Hill systems is preferred.
- Superior organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and balance multiple projects.
